FISSURE Playground 2—News Update
Teams, Format & Schedule
The 16-team FISSURE Playground 2 will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, from September 12 to 21, 2025.
The tournament kicks off with a Swiss-style group stage (best-of-three). Teams with a 3‑0, 3‑1, or 3‑2 record advance to the playoffs.
Playoffs are single-elimination, still in BO3, culminating in a BO5 grand final.
Prize Pool & VRS Stakes
The total prize pool is $1,250,000, split into $500,000 for players and $750,000 for clubs.
Beyond the trophy, the event has VRS (Valve Ranking System) implications that can influence invites to the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major later this year.

Sixteen teams are confirmed, including headline names such as The MongolZ, FURIA, FaZe, and Falcons (whose roster includes hometown star NiKo).
Additional invites round out the list: Legacy, HEROIC, paiN, Lynn Vision, TYLOO, Astralis, GamerLegion, 3DMAX, Virtus.pro, Liquid, Aurora, and G2.
